I think that agent was trying to gently and respectfully remind you that you were being unrealistic in your value pricing.  

And &#039;father owned it&#039; to me implies that he might have had diminished capacity.  Which I am seeing a LOT of these days.  

She might have been trying to be too PC - you are right that she should have mentioned the VALUE in this home that she would not get if the home was pristine.</description>

		<description>I think you might have been a little harsh with that agent in the overpriced home.  I once went into a home that had towering, and noisy, powerlines across the back of the lot.  When I expressed concerns about the powerlines, he got a (fake) blank look on his face and said, &quot;What powerlines?&quot;  Talk about a lack of character.
